Luciano Iritsu

Founder and Body Piercer

Luciano Iritsu began his career in Brazil between 1999/2000. Before establishing his first studio, he constantly traveled, working with piercings in Japan and Brazil.

Career in Brazil (2005 - 2013)

In São Paulo, Luciano owned the IRITSU PIERCER TATTOO SHOP studio and stood out as one of the main names in body art in Latin America:

Event Organizer:

• "Conscar" (2006): Organized the first scarification event in Latin America.
• "FRRRKCON" (2008): Co-organizer (with T.Angel - frrrkguys) of the first body art congress in Brazil.
• "Virada Cultural" (2010, 2011, 2012): Producer of the Body Art stage, organized by the Government of São Paulo.

Performance and Art:

• Toured Brazil with the performance group 3ºCielo (with Jorge Peña and T. Angel).
• Owned the urban art gallery Traço Livre, which hosted graffiti artists and performers.

International Experience and Updates

As a speaker and piercer, Luciano took his knowledge to various countries and always pursued professional excellence:

• Conferences and Events: Participated in the APP (Association of Professional Piercers) in Las Vegas, GEP (2017), and LBP (Latin Body Piercing) in 2014, 2015, and 2023.
• Tours: Worked in Chile, Argentina, Panama, Mexico, and the United States.
• Japan: In 2024 and 2025, participated in the organization of the JPPA (Asian Meetup) in Tokyo.

Meg Hayashi

Partner and Manager (Front of the House)

Born in Brazil in 1981, Meg has lived in Japan for over 20 years. As a partner at IRITSU BODY JEWELRY, she ensures excellence in customer service and a pleasant experience for all clients.

Interpersonal Skills and Management

Meg's vast experience is fundamental to the studio's professional environment:

• Previous Experience: Event promoter in São Paulo and manager of establishments such as restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels, and lodges in Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Hakuba.
• Languages: Ready to converse in Portuguese, Japanese, English, and/or Spanish.
• Updates: Participated in the LBP in Mexico (2023) and APP in the United States (2025).

Meron

Expert Piercer and Gold Jewelry Project Designer

Meron began his apprenticeship in 2021 with Luciano Iritsu and quickly sought international specialization. He is a partner in the studio, a specialist in perforations, and responsible for the gold jewelry projects at IRITSU BODY JEWELRY.

Training and Research

The continuous pursuit of in-depth knowledge and updates is a pillar of his work:

• United States: Traveled to study at the APP conference and visited renowned studios such as Evolved Body Art, New Flower Piercing, Enigma Piercing, and The Venice Canvas.
• Latin America: Participated in the LBP (2023) and traveled through Mexico visiting reference studios such as Studio Onix, Piercing Shala, and Papalotl.
• Japan: Participated in the Asia Meeting (JPPA) in Tokyo in 2024 and 2025.
